At BrickDrop.Co, we strive to make the return process for your Lego® sets as straightforward and convenient as borrowing them.
Preparing Your Sets for Return
When it's time to return your rented Lego® sets, we ask that you disassemble all the components. The only exception is for any stickers that have been applied – these should remain on the bricks. We understand that breaking down a set, particularly those with many or tightly connected pieces, can be challenging. To assist in this process and to prevent damage to the pieces or stickers, we often include the Lego® 630 Brick Separator with larger or more intricate sets.
This tool is specifically designed to separate Lego® bricks safely and efficiently. It's invaluable for detaching small or tightly-fitted pieces and can significantly speed up the disassembly process. We encourage you to use the Brick Separator to ensure a smooth and easy breakdown of your set.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Brick Separator, Lego® offers comprehensive instructions on their website. Here you can find detailed guides and video tutorials on how to use this tool effectively.
Lego® 630 Brick Separator Instructions
Please note that failing to disassemble your sets adds extra workload for our staff, which is not included in your subscription. In such cases, a fee of $8 per set, per 15-minute interval, will be charged to your card on file. While we prefer not to impose this charge, proper return of sets is crucial for our quick turnaround and for serving the next member of our community eagerly waiting for the set.
Sorted Sets
All sets ship with Minifigs separated into a inside bag. Large and Premium sets have the advantage of being color sorted due to the size. It greatly helps us if the sets are returned sorted into the bags they were shipped in. While currently this is optional, it does allow us to turn inventory around faster and get your next shipment out ASAP.
Please help by sorting your sets as you take them apart.
These sets will soon start shipping with labels that identify the colors within a bag for accessibility and to assist with separating the sets into there sorted pieces.
Returning A Set
Each shipment comes with instructions on how to obtain your return label, or it may already be included in the box. The return shipping is pre-paid and incurs no additional cost to you as part of our commitment for free shipping. All sets should be packaged in their original bags, and the box those bags were sent in.
To package your set for return, place all disassembled pieces into the original bags and then into the box. Any unused sticker sheets, brick separator, or delicate non-brick items should also be placed inside the box.
Attach the return label over the existing shipping label on the box, ensuring no confusion for the logistics team. Seal the box with the provided packing tape, and drop it off at any designated drop-off point to return it to BrickDrop.co.
Don't Mix Sets
If you have multiple sets rented at the same time, it's crucial to keep them separate. Mixing sets complicates the sorting process, leads to confusion over missing pieces, and could result in charges for incomplete sets.
Returning mixed sets requires additional sorting time, not covered by your subscription. In such instances, an administrative fee of $8 per set, billed in 15-minute increments, will be applied. This policy ensures that each set is complete and ready for the next community member in a timely manner.
By following these guidelines, you help us maintain an efficient and enjoyable service for all our members.
